Master Piano class featuring Jeremy Denk

 

jeremy denk2Bloomfield Hills, MI: The BridgeConnect Foundation announces its first collaborative effort with the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival to offer a master class for youth and adults on Wednesday, June 17th, from 1 – 2pm. This very special class features renowned pianist Jeremy Denk, hosted at Temple Beth El Chapel at 7400 Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills.

This unique opportunity to listen and learn from internationally renowned pianist Denk, plus other talented musicians, will provide insight into music theory and technique. Mr. Denk is one of today's most compelling young artists; he has appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the St. Louis, Houston and San Francisco symphonies, among others. Mr. Denk recently made his debut at the DSO and is currently collaborating with violinist Joshua Bell; he is sponsored by Gail and Ira Mondry... The Great lakes Chamber Music Festival represents a remarkable relationship between religious and cultural institutions. A secular event, the Festival is sponsored by three religious institutions (representing Catholic, Jewish, and Protestant faiths) and Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings, a prominent musical ensemble that also provides administration for the Festival.
